Concern Khlibprom foresees growth in exports

16.09.2014

During January-July, Concern Khlibprom PJSC exported 191.4 tonnes of semi-finished bread products and rusk products to the USA, Germany and the Czech Republic. According to AR group Analyst Company, the Company is leading among Ukrainian producers and exporters in the segment of semi-finished bakery products.

As Vladyslav Averchenko, the Director General of Concern Khlibprom PJSC noted, the company plans to increase export shipments by means of expanding the range and finding partners in new markets. Today the export structure consists of traditional Ukrainian bread and individual recipes made to order of retailers. The Company has noted that the military operations in the east of the country restrain some potential partners from signing long-term contracts. But as a result of granting Ukraine customs preferences in trade with the EU, that provide for the abolition of import duties on bakery products, this cooperation is becoming more appealing. It is also evidenced by the results of activities in the industry in 2014.In general, exports of bakery products in Ukraine have increased by 42.5% in volumes and by 99.0% in cash during 7 months of the current year.
