PJSC Concern Khlibprom: enhancing economic security of the country and working for victory
The Company prepared to changes in advance to guarantee non-stop supply of fuel and raw materials, logistics, sale and supply of products, maintaining its full line.

Company’sbranches are in several regions of Ukraine and employ over 3000 people. The Company continues its operations and is among 1/3 of Ukrainian businesses that didn’t stop their activities in times of war.
Responding to challenges, Company management made a decision about partial reorganization of the Company’s work, replanning, processes optimization and delegation of dutiesto hold down jobs during crisis period. At some point employees could be doing somebody else’s duties or work during weekends and bank holidays, but it was the way to achieve the performance targets and maintain stable operation.Remote working from different parts of the world was organized for numerous office workers. At the time of particular danger one branch company together with the production warehouse was promptly relocated into comparatively safe region of the country, and the personnel together with their families moved to the prepared living quarters near their new place of work.
Needless to say, safety remains the Company’s top priority, which means both product safety and workplace safety, and Company’s employees are our biggest asset. Our enterprise refurbished shelters where personnel can stay during air raid alarms. Bomb shelters were equipped with free access to Internet,heating devices, food and water store, as well as amenities for long-term stay of workers of every shift from each department. We updated and purchased additional technical equipment for work and protection of personnel from potential hazard. Additional trainings for civil defense and first aid were held within each department.
To ensure informational support of employees within the company, we launched new communication tools within new internal communication channels where one can read latest news about functioning of the Company and the country and find useful links.
Being an enterprise of critical infrastructure where substantial share of work is done by men which can’t be replaced by women, Company closely cooperates with the government agencies and works to postpone military call-up of its workers to ensure its full-scale uninterrupted operation. Our country has never faced such overwhelming challenges before, so general call-up posed risk to the very existence and operation of production. Processes are being set up, but owing to the possibility to reserve specialists we managed to maintain key phases of production. However, because of the critical demand on certain professions at the frontline, some employees of PJSC Concern Khlibprom took arms to defend our country. In this case the company managements and staff are joining efforts to support the warriors and their families, responding to their needs and providing them with assistance.
Concern Khlibprom made a decision to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, charity organizations and volunteers in the early days of the large-scale invasion. We processed hundreds of requests for support. Volunteers who managed to confirm transparency of their activity received over 50,000 bakery products weighing over 11 tons and 500 kg of coffee from the Company to comply with requests. We continue doing it on the daily basis. These days our humanitarian produce is supplied to the furthermost areas of Ukraine, its recipients being our defenders, displaced people and inhabitants of liberated territories.
