Continuous Improvement System at Concern Khlibprom

The project office of Concern Khlibprom launched the implementation of a large-scale project to create a sustainable Continuous Improvement System in order to provide for the continual improvement and simplification of the business operation processes, reducing costs and increasing profits and implementing cost-efficient production principles. Manufacture plant “Lviv Bakery #5” became a pilot site for the system implementation, and with time it will be expanded to every division of the Company.
Since late 2022 the project office has been putting together and planning implementation of 192 improvement projects, and the Change Agents Team, the most active members of the department, undertook the implementation part. 119 out of 192 planned projects have been implemented in first quarter of 2023, 44 more are being implemented, 13 projects have been suspended and 16 withdrawn due to being irrelevant. The following were among the implemented projects: lighting system optimization, raw material use reduction, technologies improvement, replacement of pipelines insulation, relocation of packaging equipment and many more.
Organization of Continuous Improvement System helps to solve current tasks in efficient manner and implement large-scale change with significant economic effect, improves working conditions, increases labour safety and quality of products, facilities and services.
