In 2013, "Concern Khlibprom" invested 9.5 million UAH in the modernization of production capacities

In 2013, 9.5 million UAH were invested in equipment upgrades of production units at Lviv Bakery No. 5, Confectionery Shop and Vinnytsiakhlib. During the year, the major projects in the framework of the modernization program covered the introduction of the new modular boiler installations, upgrades furnaces for production lines of loaf and buns, the introduction of vertical packaging machine, replacement of dought divider forproduction toast bread and dought rounder for the production of bakery products.

"During this uneasy year, we continue with our planned investment projects aimed at modernizing, guided by the strategy of intensive development," says Yuri Rohovij, Operations Director of Concern Khlibprom JSC.

"Our findings suggest that the competition in the grain market is not just about the prices, it is about the quality. And these are the projects that allow not to lose the quality of bakery products, in the first place, but to enhance it."

A separate area for effective implementation of investment projects at large production sites is the launch of energy saving projects. As an example, the Company cites the new Modular Boiler installation bought for the price of 755 thousand UAH. Saving of gas after the installation of the new system comprises 35 thousand UAH each month.

In 2014 the Company plans to continue with optimization of the equipment and to implement the projects related to energy saving.
